Her dance training includes styles such as Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, and Musical Theatre. She is a passionate performer and choreographer and truly loves the world of teaching and being able to inspire and create a fiery passion for other young performers as well. She received her Masters in Education in 2017. Currently, she is the dance teacher/director at Valhalla High School.

Ms. Domingo is a native San Diegan who has had the privilege to work as an instructor and performer throughout the San Diego Dance Community for the past fifteen years. After receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies from San Diego State University, she briefly pursued a career in Advertising & Marketing. Over the course of Ms. Domingo's professional career, however, she continued to teach dance and choreograph for various schools, studios and companies in Southern California including the Steele Canyon High School Dance Team, Escondido High School Dance Team, was the founding director for the San Diego Guardian Angels, and most recently the head coach of the San Diego Strikeforce Dance Team. Ms. Domingo lives to share her passion for performance and dance in the hope to inspire other growing dancers.

She received her Single Subject Teaching Credential in Physical Education from San Diego State University and most recently, her Master of Arts in Teaching - Secondary Education (May 2021). Following her time student teaching in the Orange Nation (Valhalla High School under Mrs. Shauni Whyte), She completed her second semester under Kathryn Shaw and Ryan Silva at Helix Charter High School. During her time at Helix, she was simultaneously a long term substitute for Katie Pipes in the Dance Department.

In January 2020, immediately after she received her credential, she was hired as the Dance and Health Teacher mid-year at Lemon Grove Academy Middle School. Ms. Domingo has been a devout arts educator in the San Diego community for over a decade, most recently working as an Outreach Teaching Artist for Malashock Dance Company and Arts 4 Learning. This program allowed her to provide arts integration classes for schools in the San Diego Unified School District.

Ms. Domingo is passionate about mentoring students in preparation for their futures and thrives on having the opportunity to teach skills that students can use in other fields of study and in preparation for higher learning and the workforce. She believes in providing equitable education, through the arts specifically, and setting up her students for success. This is Ms. Domingo's first year as the Director of the Dance Department at Valhalla High School.
